VAPOR BARRIER
A vapor barrier is an impermeable membrane that blocks the flow of air through
the building envelope and is an essential part of the building envelope.
The main purpose of a vapor barrier is preventing the passage of the water vapor that is contained in air,
so that it blocks moisture from the building and further enhances its durability and thermal insulation.
It is laminated with aluminum, kraft paper, various films / fabrics and attached to
thermal insulation materials such as glass wool, mineral wool, and PIR.
